I am struggling this year to keep up with all the County Competitions etc and I have not updated any results on the website for this I apologise. We do have a members Facebook Page where members constantly up date things. If there is any member out there who wants to take over the website I would be eternally grateful as I am not as young as I used to be and things take longer to do these days.

I do know we the men have won their first round of National Top Club against Maidenhead Town and now face Bracknell.

Nicola and Gemma are through to the quarter finals of the pairs . All of these competitions are on the Berkshire Bowls main website if you want to be kept up to date.

The County Competitions for the men and the ladies are well under way. We have a team through to the last 6 of the ladies triples where they will face a strong team from the Isle of Bohemia which is being played tomorrow evening 18th May at 6. pm at the Thicket. So good luck to Sheila Gemma and Nicola tomorrow evening.

The men have had mixed success. Bill Hing in the 4's came up against a strong team from the Household and sadly came second. Kevin Scrace and his team are through to the last 16.

Meanwhile the league and friendly games are coming thick and fast and our Captains are asking all members to put their names forward for as many games as possible. We have been unable to fulfil a few fixtures owing to not enough players being available so please encourage your friends and relatives to come and give bowling a try.
