On a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon we travelled the short distance to our great rivals at Desborough B.C. 6 rinks of competitive bowling over 21 ends ending with a win for Thicket 146.79 . Thicket's winning rink was skipped by Nicola Jones with Chris Howard Paul Ripley and Tina Scherer winning 31 8. This was our first win of the season so lets keep up the good work. Well done everyone.

Our first fixture of the season was away on Sunday 24th April at Bassetbury Manor. This is a relatively new fixture for us and we were welcomed warmly by the members.
Unfortunately our warm welcome did not extend to the game and we came second but everyone enjoyed and their were lots of banter and plenty of laughter.

Our next friendly fixture is away at Thame lets hope we get our first win

On a lovely sunny Easter Sunday a good number of members gathered to play the opening game of the new Season. A good time was had by all with lots of laughs, cups of tea and some cake. I understand that some good bowls were played as well.

Now I must apologise for the fact that the fixtures are not up and running on the website. I have no excuse except I am struggling to get the file to upload in a format you can all read. Hopefully it will be sorted before too long
