Weekend Games

When restrictions were lifted and Bowls Clubs were allowed to re-open again Maidenhead Thicket opened the green for roll ups on a strictly booked time slot with 3 rinks open only and with no more than 6 people on site in accordance with Bowls England and Government Guidance

This was very succesful and the committee decided to introduce some friendly games at the weekend in the shape of Australian Pairs. These games have been running for well over a month now and are hugely popular amongst members who want to play. There are two sessions on a Saturday and 1 on a Sunday (2 if needs be). Members have to register their interest a week before and then are notified of the time to arrive. All Socially distancing Rules and Hygiene Rules are strictly adhered to and judging from the fun and laughter on the green everyone who participates is enjoying the format..

This coming weekend (because of other activities) we have fewer numbers attending so this weekend will be a Triples competition . Hope everyone enjoys the game
