Yesterday (9th November) our Senior 4's were presented with their trophy at the annual luncheon at Calcot Hotel Reading. Winners of the Senior 4's Royal County of Berkshire. The presentation of prizes was made by Hazel Marke President of Bowls England along with Mrs. Pat Fowkes Berkshire County President 2019. One of the members of the team was away so unable to attend but she was with us in spirit
On a bright sunny but cold morning at 10.00 a.m. a goodly number of us attended the AGM at the Bowls Club. All the officers were duly elected and commence their roles as of today. Amongst the things discussed were the proposed new shirts which were approved (watch this space). The outgoing President expressed her thanks to everyone for all their help and guidance over the year and was happy to hand over the reins to Mr. David Scrace who will be our next year's President. Paul Worthy reminded everyone about the upcoming Theatre trip in November and the date for next year's tour has been set. I hope everyone winters well. For those who were unable to attend Minutes will be posted in the Club asap
